Metrolist stats for July:

  • Units sold were up for July by 2.9 percent; million dollar sales were down, but only by 2.7 percent which is a significant improvement over last month
  • The average sales price for the market was down 9.4% which is also an improvement over June
  • And listing inventory went down in July by 15.2%

The second annual Coldwell Banker
Ride the Range bike ride is quickly approaching. It will be held the week of September 8-12. This year, the cycling team is made up of one sponsored rider from each office. In addition to conquering the 300 plus mile bike ride,
the sponsored rider for your office is committed to raising at least $1,500 towards the fundraiser. Please take a moment to do what you can to help
you rider raise the minimum pledge.

Coldwell Banker 10-day sales event

We are pleased to announce the exciting details of the upcoming Coldwell Banker 10-Day Sales Event being held October 10-19, 2008. Following successful similar campaigns in other marketplaces, Coldwell Banker, as the real estate leader, has decided to turn this into a national event in order to help stimulate the real estate market and help our buyers and sellers before the traditionally slower holiday season approaches.

All homes included in our local 10-Day Sales Event will be asked to “energy” price their homes by reducing the list price by a minimum of 5%.

For buyers, this is a great chance for you to let them know about this incredible home buying event where they may find just the home for which they have been waiting. Plus, use this as your opportunity to educate your buyers so they know that they may still take advantage of historically low interest rates and increased conforming loan limits.

To help you utilize this event to the best of your ability, we have developed the following marketing tools:

Beginning the weekend of September 18, we will be running inset ads in our weekly property ads to inform consumers about our upcoming 10-Day Sales Event. On the weekends of October 11-12 and October 18-19, we will also be running a special 10-Day Sales Event display advertisement in nearly all of our Colorado papers. During this special edition we will only include open homes in our property ads so please plan accordingly.

Your efforts will also be backed by a local and national advertising, PR and website marketing.
